This live performance video for Pedestal, directed by Estene with creative direction by Sarah Dattani Tucker, does exactly that - capturing cinematic elegance grounded in real emotion.
Taking place in a clean industrial setting with plenty of natural light, Simone sits atop a small pillar, the other musicians surrounding her as she performs.
A wonderful piece, playing with composition, structure and cinematography to create an absorbing viewing experience. Â
