Coach Party 'Girls!' by Joshua Halling, Daniel Broadley

Promonews - 19th May 2025

Joshua Halley and Daniel Broadley team up to create a world where ordinary people can indulge their hidden desires for the Isle of Wight indie-rock outfit Coach Party.

In the video for pulsating track Girls!, Halling and Broadley seamlessly integrate the band's riotous performance with the initiation of a group of characters into Club Caramel, and remove the shackles of their conventional lives. It builds to a state of delirium so each individual is free enough to submerge their faces in the sweet, sticky stuff.

"The band were super-keen to base their whole second record around the idea of a fictitious place called Club Caramel, where people can come and be the real versions of themselves," say the directors. "We decided to establish this world in the Girls! music video.

"Coach Party’s music has this beautiful harmony of light and dark to it, sweet vocals with hard lyrics, catchy melodies with crushing guitars. Visually we adopted a similar juxtaposition - a dark comedy, with surreal undertones, in a gritty dystopian environment."
