Luigi Calabrese directs a murderous love story for LA-based singer-songwriter Cate Tomlinson.

The video for Half Lover is an ode to 80's slashers, complete with blood, violence and low budget aesthetic. 

It starts like every good horror film - at a cabin in the middle of the woods, far away from civilisation and the emergency services. Diving full-throttle into a conceptual horror storyline, the video has the same unabashed sense of fun as slasher films of the era, elevated with filmic cinematography and an inspired revenge storyline.

Intercut with a high-energy performance section, it's a brilliant visual that will leave viewers feeling like they picked up a VHS at their local Blockbuster. Ah, the good old days...
