Mark Lediard directs a love letter to the North East, in his promo for Of Mice And Men's Castaway. 

Featuring up and coming actor Bridget Marumo - also from the North East - the video follows her character as she explores locations around Newcastle city centre and County Durham. 

Featuring a flair of VFX performance, through animated artwork on various walls, the video has a particular focus on brutalist architecture and it's place within the overall environment. 

“I’ve always been inspired by the brutalist architecture we have in the North East," Lediard says.

"It's striking lines and shapes have a unique look that may not be to everyone’s taste, but I find it really visually interesting. This video was a perfect opportunity to feature these unique locations and show them off to the world”.
