Balan Evans directs a touching promo for Eloise's Drunk On A Flight. 

The video sees the artist sat at the end of a row of characters, waiting to board a flight in a mockup airport. Fragments of narrative from the lyrics are visualised in vignettes between other characters, yet Eloise exudes the emotion of the entire track, poignant and bittersweet, in her performance. 

Dynamic camerawork and clever moving pieces give the video a dreamlike flourish, and the art direction helps to both sell the location and give the entire concept a larger than life feel.

"This one was a real feat but it felt like everyone was on the same page from day dot," director Balan Evans says.

"It’s actually the first big set build I’ve done which had its own new challenges, but we had an incredible team who all brought their own unique style to the film. It all just meshed together in the best possible way."
