Fantasy and reality collide in Louise De Nexon's film Somewhere In The Middle, featuring French experimental musician Ben Draghi.
Sasami 'Sorry Entertainer' by Alan Resnick, Patti Harrison
Alan Resnick and Patti Harrison's latest work for SASAMI takes a dark turn and no one is safe, not even Beyoncé.
Typical of the dark style of comedy for which Resnick is known amongst the Adult Swim scene, the video depicts a babysitter from hell creating utter chaos and launching demonic entities onto an unsuspecting suburban household - and a poor kid with a penchant for Queen B herself.
The concept is a real trip, and builds to a climax of abstract imagery melting into lo-fi grading and experimental camerawork.
Baffling and stupifying in the best way, it's well worth a watch or three to take in all of the mayhem.
