KC Locke directs Nafe Smallz and M Huncho under the sea, rather than underwater, in the promo for Flooded.

The artists perform in an abundant, minimalist space beneath a huge body of water - achieved through a ceiling of cutting-edge LED screens. 

Boasting great art direction by Jenny O'Sullivan, and a series of dizzying camera moves from DoP Stefan Yap, it is another chapter in KC Locke's action-packed videography.

KC Locke: 

"Directing the Mixtape launch video from M Huncho & Nafe Smallz I wanted to create a piece of visual art that represented the artists transcending to an upper echelon status, exploring imagination and excellence, where they both are within a dream-like world beyond earth - as if on mount Olympus looking down on the world below.

"Their EPs theme was cryogenic suspension so I wanted to envision what people dream of while in cryo sleep, linking into the track-list on the mixtape - Art Director Jenny O’Sullivan spent hours hand sculpting items which are present within the video as pieces of art.

"I wanted to step away from the typical rap music video and creating a visual statement to resonate beyond usual conventions while still feeling raw and powerful with both front and centre.
I wanted to use different technology and large digital LED screens to bring something new and different to the UK Rap video scene."
