Thérèse 'T.O.X.I.C' by Charlie Montagut
A striking exercise in visual art-pop from Charlie Montagut for Thérèse Sayarath.
It's a series of still portraits of the Paris-based singer-songwriter - one half of duo La Vague - intercut with still lives become increasingly distorted and manipulated.
Thérèse herself also becomes increasingly constrained, wrapped in polythene and submerged in a bath - a visual representation of the themes of T.O.X.I.C. Thomas Wood's cinematography and Montagut's post production work keeps it intriguing and stylish to the end.
