Iglooghost 'Amu' by Luke Gibson
Rob Ulitski - 27th Apr 2020
Luke Gibson directs an otherworldly adventure concept for Iglooghost's Amu.
Building upon the world created in 2018's Clear Tamai, also directed by Gibson, the artist traverses a hypnotic landscape with what can only be described as a floating robot ghost, otherwise known as Amu.
Effortlessly charming and wistful, the fantasy world portrayed on-screen - courtesy of VFX artist Christopher Casey Denton - is even more fantastical considering our current, very isolated reality.
With viewers online already prepped to pack their bags and move to the virtual paradise, this is a fine example of the symbiotic relationship between live action and animation, and its power to transcend reality to create a world we can only dream of experiencing.
