BBC Sound of 2020 winner Celeste joins a brass band on the streets of New Orleans, in Leonn Ward's video for Stop This Flame.

A variety of setups showcase a diverse cast, including all-female military dance troupe Diamond Girls and brass band To Be Continued, as the upbeat track is channeled and reinterpreted into their own creative expressions. Each vignette offers an overarching theme and meaning- the band represent unity and strength, for example, and the youth represent a cautious optimism for the future.

Blending these themes with an authentic and vibrant aesthetic, DP Todd Martin captures an energy and poignancy in the concept, bolstered by strong performances from everyone on-screen. Artistic expression and community have always been symbiotic, and this video celebrates the very best of our humanity and creativity.
