Charley Palmer Rothwell plays the young man in a difficult relationship and bending under the pressure of an apparently demanding partner in Harry Cauty's intriguing video for Adam French.

In line with the songtitle The Only Living Thing, Rothwell (who appeared in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk) projects his feelings and anxieties upon the blank canvas - or the void - of his co-star: a tailor's dummy.

It's a psychological study of a damaged mind that has its lighter moments, and a nice sense of mystery, partly resolved by the voicemail message at the end of the song.
