Paramore 'Rose-Colored Boy' by Warren Fu
David Knight - 12th Feb 2018
Warren Fu's new video for Paramore gives frontwoman Hayley Williams a juicy role as an increasingly disillusioned anchorwoman - flanked by her bandmates - on a local TV breakfast news show.
With his usual panache Fu presents life on both sides of the camera, as Hayley's existential crisis leads her to eventually realise why she got in the news game to begin with.
It's obviously part of grand tradition of news channel tragic-comedies from Network to Anchorman, and Jack Whiteley's video for The Staves. But this is probably the first one to reference the execrable Bill O'Reilly's famous pre-broadcast meltdown.
