Freak 'No Money' by Phil Poole
Phil Poole brings the unhinged energy of his acclaimed videos for Slaves to punky London duo Freak's attempt to rob a cornershop, when only a couple of things can stop them - their sheer incompetence, and a super-keen shop employee called Sam.
This enjoyable romp is Poole's first since signing to Blindeye Films, following in the in-your-face style of his videos for Slaves - including the NME Best Video Award-winner for Consume Or Be Consumed - Marmozets and Cerebral Ballzy.
PHIL POOLE:
"After lengthy discussions with the band a plan was hatched to create a cornershop heist filled with humour and energy. The challenge was in keeping up with the frantic pace of No Money and doing justice to it's unlimited energy. The band members stepped up and performed admirably as our key characters, with Connor even giving a star performance as our female news reporter - something worth keeping a look out for!"
