Laura Mvula ft. Nile Rodgers 'Overcome' by Alex Southam
British soul singer-songwriter Laura Mvula captivates us in her second collaboration with director Alex Southam for Overcome – following the stunning narrative video for She - and choreographed by Aaron Sillis.
Overcome is incarnated through a powerful, pulsing movement as our singer is freed from a huge golden cave through dance and music, by a troupe of dancers. With a positively sublime wardobe of soft, silken blacks and bright golden jewellry, the troupe transform themselves into an epic, joyful and triumphant celebration of life.
