Oscar 'Breaking My Phone' by Joao Retorta

Bullion newcomer Joao Retorta has served up this entertaining, chord-striking new video for Oscar, which takes a prod at how much we are consumed by our phones. In the video, the singer-songwriter strolls around gritty East London surrounded by people looking exclusively at their addictive little devices.
Not only is this a presentable version of reality, the reason why Oscar does not have one (and therefore watches his coffee being ruined as the waitress looks at her screen) is also entirely believable - although maybe a little something tells us he wants to keep it that way.
Very nice effort from Joao Retorta (who has also just co-directed the new Loyle Carner video with the artist) and just maybe the appealing Oscar has a hit on his hands...
