From them lying on the bare wood floor to writhing on the sofa,&nbsp;Zamiri's fluid camera captures their antics, then introduces the presence of their band, adding to the sense of dangerous immediacy.Then things get really messy, as a pigeon appears in the ruckus, followed by another and then a whole flock, doing what pigeons do...&nbsp;&nbsp;a surreal moment to underline the emotion. That suits the track's enigmatic&nbsp;style, and&nbsp;Aidan Zamiri's love of blending fashion aesthetics with off-the-wall ideas.&nbsp;It's another smash from the director, in the arresting lo-fi manner he has brought to his recent work for FKA twigs ad Jockstrap. One that you won't be able to scrub from your mind anytime soon.&nbsp;

And the portrait by the courtroom artist bursts into full&nbsp;animation.With an unfeasibly large cast of characters and cameos - including Don Letts as a witness and Jamie xx on a legal team - this is&nbsp;a satire on fame and media frenzy that&nbsp;hits the mark without ever losing&nbsp;its sense of fun or cool.In fact, in our judgement, it's supercool.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Aidan Zamiri and&nbsp;Yuma Burgess co-direct the mesmerising visual for FKA Twigs' latest release.&nbsp;In the video, we see the artist perform in front of camera, as the image is perpetually distorted and warped through an AI algorithm, making full use of Burgess' speciality as a visual artist.&nbsp;The resulting effect is a trip head-first into the uncanny valley, as different details of Twigs' face and body distort into something otherworldly and surreal, creating a haunting yet strangely engrossing effect.&nbsp;

Aidan Zamiri directs a brilliantly offbeat promo for&nbsp;Obongjayar.Stepping into the middle of a pitch black studio, with an expectant audience watching on, we see the artist flex his muscles and nod his head to the beat, as each of his biceps reveal a set of lips.&nbsp;The surreal vision of displaced, lip-syncing&nbsp;body parts proves too much to handle for most of the audience, as they each walk off apathetically, later recalling the event and questioning what it means. But one girl falls in love, and spends the rest of the video embraced with him.&nbsp;We've come to expect a certain surreality from Zamiri, and this video amps it all the way up, whilst retaining a sense of reflective poignancy which contrasts the absurdity of the concept.&nbsp;

Aidan Zamiri directs a fabulous lo-fi romp for Swedish rapper Yung Lean and FKA twigs.&nbsp;The video for Bliss sees twigs waiting to be picked up for the prom by Lean - messaging him on Microsoft Excel in true <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WYHDfJDPDc">Nelly &amp; Kelly fashion</a>&nbsp;- and eventually going on a very British, very lo-fi journey through suburbia.[imgtoken data:1]There's a horse, a car with chandeliers attached to the front and a frantic older woman chauffeuring them around... and that's all in the first few moments.&nbsp;In true twigs fashion, it's off-the-wall but surprisingly fluid, and&nbsp;plays to Zamiri's Noughties fashion sensibilities. The whole video looks like it was shot on Hi8 - and it's brilliantly edited by Jack Foster and Zamiri.Most importantly, they make a great pairing of contrasting attitudes that entirely rings true for the concept: Lean is playing it cool, and managing to be almost entirely deadpan; while twigs&nbsp;is arguably at her most coquettish.&nbsp;It really is Bliss.[imgtoken data:2]

It's video number three in Aidan Zamiri's collaboration with FKA twigs for new Caprisongs&nbsp;mixtape - and this time they're joined by featured artist Rema.&nbsp;The promo for Jealousy feels like a mix between 80s/90s video or fashion ad - think <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaTGrV58wec" target="_blank">C&amp;C Music Factory's Gonna Make You Sweat</a>&nbsp;-&nbsp;and contemporary editorial, and sees twigs joined by a group of dancers in a simple white cyc studio setup. Rema's scenes were&nbsp;shot by a splinter crew in Lagos, and blend seamlessly into the overall concept.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;use of action in the&nbsp;foreground and background adds a new dimension to the minimalist setups, whilst the anachronistic array of outfits creates an&nbsp;ethereal, high-fashion vibe. The careful use of silhouette and patterned light helps to elevate this aesthetic, creating a mesmerising tapestry of images.&nbsp;

Following up the lo-fi promo for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2022/01/18/fka-twigs-ride-dragon-aidan-zamiri/74595">Ride The Dragon</a>, Aidan Zamiri and FKA twigs keep up the pace with the next visual for the new Caprisongs mixtape, for Meta Angel.&nbsp;This time around, the narrative plays a much stronger part in the concept, though there is still plenty of abstract imagery to delve into.Twigs stands in the middle of a field, performing on the spot as she looks around, dazed and mesmerised. Her&nbsp;doppelgänger climbs onto a roof, and with razor sharp precision, fires an arrow directly into the other character's heart.&nbsp;The dazzling track accompanies a darkly beautiful visual, which&nbsp;carries over the raw qualities of the artist's last collaboration with Zamiri, but is much more intentional and theatrical in its execution.&nbsp;

Aidan Zamiri and FKA twigs embrace&nbsp;the challenges of going guerilla in the arrestingly lo-fi&nbsp;promo for Ride The Dragon.&nbsp;The candid video opens on the steps of&nbsp;Hackney Town Hall in East London, where twigs and her gang of dancers position themselves for a flashmob dance routine - to be captured on a long lens by DoP Molly Manning Walker. But it was never going to be that easy.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;With echoes of the classic video for Fatboy Slim's Praise You, the performance is interrupted when council staff and&nbsp;security guards act&nbsp;to promptly&nbsp;shut them down and move the girls along - leaving a confused-looking boom-op in their wake.The rest of the video documents how the gang regather at a local corner shop, regaining their zest before&nbsp;returning to complete their challenge, just metres away from the original location - before the heavy mob move in again.&nbsp;It's a far more rough-and-ready, doc-style affair than&nbsp;twigs&nbsp;and Zamiri's&nbsp;previous collaboration on the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/08/21/645ar-ft-fka-twigs-sum-bout-u-aidan-zamiri/66212">645AR track Sum Bout You</a>&nbsp;- or indeed any previous twigs video.&nbsp;The first of a series of videos directed by Zamiri for&nbsp;Caprisongs, twigs's&nbsp;newly released mixtape,&nbsp;it&nbsp;also&nbsp;suggests a more spontaneous and impulsive side of the artist that actually adds to her mystique, and directly communicates her fantastic ability as a dancer.&nbsp;

Hold on to your hats - Amber Grace Johnson has directed a spectacular promo for FKA twigs's collaboration with The Weekend.Pulsating with a riotous energy from the get-go, we see twigs dissolve from a 3D avatar and launch&nbsp;into&nbsp;impassioned choreography with a group of dancers, in a visceral interpretation&nbsp;of the songtitle, Tears In The Club.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;As the lights scintillate, the vignettes morph to&nbsp;sizzling&nbsp;setups on a dentist chair, and pole dancing in an underwater chamber, as Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd watches with an emotional smile. But by the end, it's twigs who has chasing down a miniature Abel, like a cat toying with a mouse.[imgtoken data:2]&nbsp;&nbsp;Shot in a breathless&nbsp;hyperreal style, this is twigs in full-on pop video mode, but retaining that sense of raw emotion that is a central hallmark&nbsp;of her body of work.&nbsp;At the same time, it could also be the sexiest&nbsp;twigs video ever - which is saying something.This is twigs's&nbsp;first music video collaboration with&nbsp;Amber Grace Johnson,&nbsp;and evidently they are a heaven-made match. It certainly confirms that this is a director making some of the most exciting and coolest&nbsp;work in pop videos right now.&nbsp;

Diana Kunst directs an incredible performance promo for FKA Twigs ft Central Cee.&nbsp;Taken from the soundtrack of upcoming 20th Century Studios film&nbsp;The King's Man&nbsp;- a prequel to the popular&nbsp;Kingsman&nbsp;franchise - the track is a sweeping, Bond-esque epic, with dramatic strings and powerful percussion.The video reflects this sense of drama, interweaving dance, martial arts and slick visual effects,&nbsp;anchored by Twigs' ethereal presence and adeptness at a menagerie of different performance styles.&nbsp;Extravagant and amibitious - just like every Twigs promo - this feels like a perfect balance between the avant garde and mainstream, and is a stunning achievement across the board.&nbsp;

Kasper Häggström creates a brilliantly absurd satire for this&nbsp;previously unreleased Radiohead track.​A spectacularly surreal&nbsp;premise is delivered in the Norwegian&nbsp;director's&nbsp;characteristically precise and measured fashion&nbsp;-&nbsp;people in suits are standing in fields, moors and woods - like grazing animals - being rounded-up&nbsp;by a trio of&nbsp;farm hands. And this leaves the viewer plenty of room to ponder the significance&nbsp;and symbolism of&nbsp;they are witnessing.[imgtoken data:1]Ultimately, it turns out that these creatures are being returned to what would be regarded as their natural habitat - a timely comment on the post-lockdown moment and rush back to 'normality'. But by this point you may be sighing with relief.Radiohead have taken Häggström into a darker level of comedy&nbsp;than&nbsp;we have seen in his previous videos, which is a fascinating development. He looks like a very good match for the great alt-rock&nbsp;band.&nbsp;&nbsp;
