The inspiration behind this was based on the thought process ‘what feels this good’ and my result was, carelessness. Troy Roscoe teams up with KSI for another ambitious collaboration, with the video for Summer Is Over.&nbsp;The slick visual sees KSI at an end-of-summer barbecue, moving around the scene and performing as the other guests celebrate in slow motion.&nbsp;VFX-heavy yet completely seamless - even with scattered showers, grey skies and&nbsp;various liquids and textures to contend with&nbsp;- it's a brilliant concept executed to perfection.&nbsp;"Hands down one of the hardest shoots I’ve had to date," Roscoe says. "Anyone that is either edit or visual effects savvy will be able to appreciate the complexity of the concept."On paper it's simple: KSI walking through scenes performing whilst everybody is in slow motion. But actually executing that with typical British weather as a factor, proved far from simple. But we pulled it off!&nbsp;"We shot the video on Monday and was complete by the Friday! I’m so proud of my team and the hard work that went into it and as always KSI is a pleasure to work with."

So it's not so surprising that this is No.1 on YouTube's UK Music Video chart right now.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;"(This is) most definitely one of my most favourite shoots and videos to date!" says Troy Roscoe.&nbsp;"So much went into this. From pre-production to final delivery it was a meticulous process, as there were so many things that could go wrong.&nbsp;I knew we had our work cut out.&nbsp;"Usually you find yourself in a position where people have experience in how to pull these things off. But none of us had seen anything like it, as it’s very hard to make a clone come into contact with one another through VFX. Usually you would use deep fakes, but we went for an organic approach so that it looks as real as possible. And it’s safe to say we pulled it off![imgtoken data:2]"The concept is beautiful, as the root of it is something everybody can relate to, focussed on the fact that the only competition you actually have is [with] yourself. KC Locke teams up with Aitch for another high-concept promo, this time for In Disguise, featuring Bakar.&nbsp;The video spans a number of dynamic vignettes, effortlessly blending narrative and performance, tied together with vibrant grading.It's a new look for Aitch, keeping things fresh and unexpected after several successful collaborations with KC Locke - as KC explains.[imgtoken data:1]"Aitch wanted to switch up the vibe on this one and bring a more rock emo feeling to the video," he says. "The song is about a girl who pays Aitch no attention but secretly she’s a super fan . We created a fun narrative with a rock band performance element - which was new for me too.<blockquote>We motion-captured Aitch’s body movements which was then tracked to our CGI teddy bear.&nbsp;</blockquote>"Aitch wanted some toy teddy bears at the intro of the video, then during the treatment-writing process I decided to try bring the teddy bear to life with guidance from our VFX team."We motion-captured Aitch’s body movements which was then tracked to our CGI teddy bear - this was also another way of showing Aitch in disguise as an actual teddy bear too. After the intro we show both Aitch and the teddy bear up to no good in our living room scene with our female actress, who is not impressed by their antics.&nbsp; "We shot the whole video in our studio in Manchester, and got through 7 scenes in one day, which wouldn’t have been possible without having our own dedicated studio facilities. Production designer&nbsp;Jenny O’Sullivan worked really hard turning all the sets around in a few days with her construction team and we all really love the results."The whole team worked really hard bringing this together from producer and production to DoP, lighting, edit and colour grade, which all blended seamlessly together."

The New Hope Club boys experience four seasons in one day, in Troy Roscoe's feel-good promo for Getting Better.&nbsp;Walking around a residential block, we see the group take the elements in their stride, as they joyously perform in the middle of the street.&nbsp;"This was for sure one of my favourite shoots to date," says Roscoe. "Admittedly, as soon as I decided I wanted New Hope Club to walk through an abundance of weather elements, we had our work cut out. There was so much room for error, as instead of going for visual effects, we opted for real physical weather simulations."&nbsp;&nbsp;"The boys made this an absolute breeze - pardon the pun - as their raw talent, charisma and charm brought the visual to life and made it a pleasure to work with them. I think telling an artist you want them to walk through real rain, wind and snow is always a difficult conversation, but the boys were down for anything in order to achieve the epic video that we did."&nbsp;The playful concept is executed perfectly, and makes for a unique and refreshing visual. Now someone go get the group (and crew)&nbsp;a hot cup of tea!&nbsp;

KC Locke taps into the mystique of masked rapper M Huncho, referencing fantasy stories and cinema in an imaginative fashion,&nbsp;in&nbsp;the latest edition of Apple Music Agenda Live series.On Doomsday, Huncho explicitly references the late MF Doom, from whom he has inherited his masked persona, and who was himself inspired by Marvel super-villain Doctor Doom. So Locke provides Huncho with his own superhero origin story in a movie-like setting - a huge cave, set in a mountain peak. His very own Fortress of Solitude, in order to reflect on his life.[imgtoken data:1]"I was very excited to work on this project, especially as it was my second Agenda Live visual," he says.&nbsp;"I felt like I had to approach it completely differently than I did the first time, while also staying true to the DNA of the Agenda series."I wanted to push the boundaries and make something very different that co-existed between the Apple Agenda series and M Huncho’s Chasing Euphoria album in my own KC Locke way!<blockquote>I wanted to reveal who is the mind behind the mask...</blockquote>"For this video I really wanted to tap into Huncho’s identity, something he’s always been very elusive [about]. I wanted to reveal who is the mind behind the mask in a way which is respectful to his legacy, but gives the audience an introspective vision they haven’t seen before.[imgtoken data:2]"It opens on Huncho’s wise words and life lessons as a spoken-word piece, before transitioning in a dreamlike manner [to reveal] an experimental performance inside a huge underground cave network - where we find Huncho searching for his euphoria!"I drew references from fantasy worlds while conceptualizing this visual to really build on the mystique of the M Huncho universe and origin story. I like to place the artists I work with into their own universes as if they were characters in their own origin films."
