Sebastian Susanto directs a charming promo for The Candle Light Children's Try Again, which sees a young woman explore an enigmatic stately home, vibing to the music through her headphones in a playful way. Interspersed with theatrical performance vignettes, it's a video that feels wistful yet endearing, and pays homage to films of the 90's and 2000's. "With The Candle Light Children, I’ve always thrived to create songs that sound like the soundtrack to movies, and I feel that this song isn’t so different," says vocalist and project leader Adan.

Taisia Deeva follows up her stunning promo for Paul Kalkbrenner's Part Twelve with another superlative video for the German producer. The concept for Parachute opens with a young boy, who after being taunted and roughed up by local teens, transcends his dead-end reality and floats to a meditative space of healing and communal friendship. Before long, characters in a complex of brutalist houses launch out of windows, swim through the air and experience an otherworldly miracle, in a set piece crescendo that ends on a cautiously optimistic note. "Parachute is a slice of surrealist optimism set within a brutalist Kiev housing complex," explains Taisia Deeva. "In the visual, we see characters literally fly through the air, suspended hundreds of feet high, swim-up stairways, and jump out of 30 storey windows."The push and pull between otherworldly fantasy and stark backdrops explore the oscillating moods of hope and despair that the world has cycled through in 2020, and, above all, our continued desire for human connection."

Part-music video, part-movie trailer, all brilliant. DANIELS (that's directing duo Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan) have been away from the world of music videos ever since co-directing their Joywave video with Zak Stolz about two years ago. But they've been incredibly busy. Last year they unleashed the incredible and bizarre short film 'Interesting Ball' onto the unsuspecting masses. Now they're gearing up to release Swiss Army Man - their debut feature film, starring Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe.Soundtracked by Andy Hull and Robert McDowell from the band Manchester Orchestra, the film looks set to have all of DANIELS' trademark strangeness: frenetic special effects that happen so fast you barely process them, silly ideas - and farts. And this lyric video for part of the films' soundtrack is an incredibly self-aware montage of some of those incredible and surreal effects.Ever since reported walkouts at Sundance, Swiss Army Man looking like it's going be divide opinion when its released on June 24th.
