Micha Akchoti directs a stirring promo for Timothée Joly, filming the French artist at locations in Europe associated with authoritarian regimes in the 20th century.The video for Oxygène Pur explores freedom in the context of people's own lives, jobs and relationships, visualised through breathtaking environments and creative cinematography. The monochromatic aesthetic, paired with the quick-cut edit and riotous track create an alluring yet disruptive energy which perfectly reflects the theme of the lyrics. "At a time where fascism and authoritarian tendencies are strongly rising again in Europe and everywhere in the world, a lot of people feel the need of freedom and space in a wider sense," says Akchoti. "Therefore, we use this song as an hymn to freedom and express the metaphor politically by shooting the artist only in front of buildings which were made under Italian fascism in Rome, or the Communist occupation in East Berlin."The contrast of the artist stuck and contrived in the frames under the weight of this architecture and past with this black and white propaganda aesthetic, singing about his need to free himself and breathe pure oxygen, says a lot about the current state of the world in my point of view."

"We aimed to establish a striking contrast between the serene demeanour of the artists and the chaotic background," Roscoe explains. "While the artists remained relaxed and composed, unaffected by the turmoil surrounding them, the background characters engaged in heated arguments, hair-pulling, and food throwing."To emphasize this dynamic, we shot a significant portion of the video with static frames, enhancing the overall artistic aesthetic."

A pack of unruly kids give Soft Play a proper pasting in Thomas Davis' riotous promo for Punk's Dead.The comeback for the duo - known as Slaves until last year - sees the pair as bouncy castle salesman, setting up shop in a nondescript industrial location for the day.Things soon descend into chaos as the customers - a bunch of kids - start to grapple and beat down the pair, leading to a rather whimsical fever dream... starring Robbie Williams in the clouds. Yes, really. It's all rather brilliant. Plenty of daft charm and channelled aggression, with fine performances by the band and the kids (and Robbie) elevated by a distinctively gritty and raw aesthetic, for a track that satirises the backward thinking in Brexit Britain. It's a proper banger.And on this evidence, Punk is alive and well...

Frequent collaborators Taliable and Flora Scott come together to create this fast, furious adventure on the streets of East London.With the city as our backdrop, two visual worlds collide in the video for ZINC! as the balaclava-clad Taliable's journey is dogged by an unwelcome clown-like figure. This allows Scott to blend the artist's ferocious style with an all-action anarchic aesthetic, as Taliable vents her considerable spleen on her adversary. The hyper-vibrant promo boasts a clash of frantic camerawork, quickfire edit and punchy performance, which comes together with riotous effect - a bit reminiscent of a classic Beastie Boys videos. What could be better?

A naughty schoolboy goes on a sugar-fuelled rampage, in French director and graphic designer So Me's promo for Riton's infectious Sugar - featuring Soaky Siren. The eccentric promo sees the young rascal (played by Ethan Wesley) tear up the town, stealing various sugary treats in a riotous, explosive adventure - much to the dismay of the poor people trying to go about their day.With frantic, in-your-face cinematography, a great supporting cast, some laugh out loud moments - as well as some lively choreography - it's a brilliant video that takes a fun concept and pulls it right to the edge of absurdity... and the track couldn't have asked for a more catchy visual.

Inside a fetish nightclub, we see a crowd of alternative partygoers dance under coruscating strobes, whilst a loathsome antagonist forcefully tries to scupper the event. The video dives into a brilliantly violent haze of bottle-smashing and fistfights, with a bloody climax that will leave viewers breathless. Bold and accomplished work from Gonzo and team - with images that will stick in your head long after you've watched.Warning: This video may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy or similar conditions.
