Luis Hindman continues his successful run of video collaborations with Joesef, this time for poignant track Joe. The video explores the process of letting go of a relationship, told through a framework of a wrecked apartment and the memories which once filled it. Emotionally, things have changed - but physically, you're still in the exact same place.Capturing a transcendent, illusory vibe that feels snatched straight from a memory, the video documents the highs, the lows and the inbetweens, seamlessly blending a stream of different emotions and snapshots of life together. The exposed, stripped-back location and art direction perfectly reflect the themes in the track, and provide a minimalist structure for the couple's world to inhabit, until it breaks apart. Raw, honest and consuming, it's a standout video, and arguably the best of Joesef and Luis Hindman's collaborations to date.

Silence explores the complex nature of relationships, for Tora-i's Lounging.The intimate promo is captured in beautifully pared-back frames, examining the ebb and flow of romantic relationships through a series of heartfelt vignettes. Appearing in the background of the setups, Tora-i observes the characters whilst performing, acting as a neutral party and the visual anchor of the concept. Beautiful work.

Jean-Vital Joliat directs a heartrending portrait of dementia in his promo for DE.VILLE. In the video for Water, a woman is shown looking after her husband with a range of day-to-day tasks, when he suddenly has a moment of lucidity. "I wanted to deal with the theme of dementia in a frontal and poetic way that brought me as close as possible to the documentary style," says Joliat. "The music sung in Arabic is a real poem and sounds like a tribute."The minimalist staging and cinematography allows the performances to breathe, exploring the intimate nature of their relationship and the sacrifices that are made in the name of love. Rich textures and a focus on bathing and water in general reflect the title of the track, whilst alluding to the fluid nature of our bodies and minds.

Andrew Jim Gannon directs an enigmatic promo about the nature of relationships for electronic artist On Man. In the video for United (Why Can't We Say Enough), a couple find themselves trapped in a strange, uncomfortable space, locked together - united, in fact - through a violent connection of love, history and blood. Starting with an expansive wide shot, the camera slowly inches closer to the couple, and reveals the true nature of their predicament. To say too much would ruin this simple, yet brilliantly effective concept. But it's safe to say that the couple have a few things to work out.

Rupert Holler directs a pastel-hued studio promo for breakthrough duo - and real life couple - Piri and Tommy. With whimsical art direction - including a scramble of scrabble tiles, cut-out backdrops and a rather photogenic frog - the video is a breezy affair, which showcases the up-and-coming act and their penchant for fun, playful visuals. The dreamlike concept is a heavenly match to the track, which reimagines UK club genres with a Gen Z twist.

Ozzie Pullin directs an affectionate promo for James Bay, exploring a couple's journey through their lives together. Celebrating milestones such as moving into a new house and having a child, we see them share intimate moments through VHS and film footage, as if it were shot themselves. "I loved the idea of playing with memory and nostalgia, but seen through the most intimate and personal perspective," says Pullin. With a beautiful performance interwoven throughout the narrative, it's a great little video that packs an emotional punch.

Lithuanian director Klemensas Kovlovas reunites with Manchester-based group Digging For Kanky, in the video for Crashing. The film and EP tell a dark and compelling love story set in Eastern Bloc Europe, following a young couple and their struggles with addiction.What starts as a usual boy-meets-girl love story takes an ominous turn, and throughout the resulting short film, we see the couple experience a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences.This follows Kovlavas's previous collaborations with the band, including an equally intense video for The Ugly, from their debut EP in 2020.

Indy Hait directs a blazing promo for Alex Clare's Why Don't Ya. Shot to resemble one continuous camera move, the video glides seamlessly between two apartments: one belonging to a couple, the other with Alex Clare performing.The couple in the apartment next door are struggling to show their emotions, apathetically sleepwalking through their routines, while the whole place is, quite terrifyingly, in flames.This contrast of danger and ennui is beautifully realised - and the fact nearly all of the fire effects are practical and in-camera adds a real sense of tension to the piece.Hats off to the actors to keeping their cool on that fiery set...
