Charlotte Cardin 'Memories' I & II by Vincent René-Lortie
Rob Ulitski - 22nd Oct 2026
Vincent René-Lortie delivers an inventive concept for Charlotte Cardin's new release: two videos, for the French and English language versions of the song Memories, that share the same essential idea, but executed differently.
Each video for Memories opens with either the French-Canadian singer or her love interest at a grand piano within an extraordinary interior space, waiting for the other to enter. Then it launches into the sensual pas de deux between Charlotte and her partner - the dancer Vinson Fraley.
Both videos are characterised by dynamic and sensual choreography, the smouldering chemistry between the pair, the palatial locations and dizzying cinematography. And each builds to a different ending.
It's an inventive, fresh concept, and offers an absorbing viewing experience, tracking through to see what stays the same and what changes in each video.
