Tally Francis directs an absorbing, vintage-inspired promo for rising pop artist Natanya. 

The video for Show Me Right is the tenth video Tally Francis has directed for Natanya, continuing to build her distinctive creative universe of playful theatrics, classical Hollywood cinema references and strong choreography.

This one was inspired by pre-Hays Code musicals such as King of Jazz (1930) and explores the tension between Natanya the performer and Natanya the artist, moving between a music-note-filled dream world and a showgirl-inspired dance hall.

In keeping with Natanya and Tally’s desire to emphasise physical craft, all props were handmade to closely replicate pieces from the era they reference while the costumes were directly pulled from early-to-mid 20th Century fashion archives. It leans into a glamorous, playful performance and strong visual hooks, and a good match to the uplifting track.
