Dave East directs a dreamy promo for saxopone player turned singer Charlie Jeer's team-up with Bridgerton and Devil Wears Prada 2 star Simone Ashley.

The video for So Good boasts a textural blend of performance and narrative snapshots, absorbing the warm energy of the track and transforming it into something even more special. 

Rather than telling a direct or overly traditional love story, the viewer experiences the couple's relationship through fragments. As Charlie performs the song, Simone moves through the city. And there are moments from their relationship, little flashes of connection that slowly build a picture of who they are together.

This feelgood, well executed project succeeds in delivering that emotion of wanted to get back to someone, celebrating celebrates the dizzying heights of love and life. And filmed on a very hot day in London earlier this summer, Dave East says he had the "best time" making it with Jeer and Ashley.

"I wanted this to feel as good as the track sounds," he says. "We set out to create something energetic, that captured the beautiful coming together of two people told through fleeting glimpses rather than a traditional story. Warm, cinematic and full of life."
