Dermot Kennedy 'The Weight Of The Woods' (Reprise) (Live From Glenmaroon) by Charlie Sarsfield

Rob Ulitski - 17th Apr 2026

Following the rousing visual for Funeral, Charlie Sarsfield reunites with Dermot Kennedy to create a short but impactful visual for the title track from the Irish artist's new album.

The video for The Weight Of The Woods (Reprise) is captured in a single, slow reveal, matching the ethereal vibe of the track. it starts on Kennedy's face, moving out to show he is accompanied by a choir, caught in the glow of evening sunlight.

Blending heartfelt performance with a sense of quiet reverence, the piece celebrates music made for connection, hope, and love, bringing the spirit of the record vividly to life.
