Girl In Red 'Too Much' by Fiona Jane Burgess

Rob Ulitski - 16th May 2024

Fiona Jane Burgess takes us on a journey from reality to a musical-inspired performance in her promo for Norwegian alt-pop singer-songwriter Girl In Red.

The video for Too Much is an ambitious and theatrical feat, boasting some brilliant set design and dance set pieces, choreographed by Holly Blakey. At its heart is the relationship between Marie Ringheim (aka Girl in Red) and her easily distracted (and possibly rather shallow) girlfriend. The artist attempts to improve the dynamic of their actual relationship by delivering an amazing theatrical show. But will it work?

Exuding a playful energy, the eccentric vignettes combine to create something utterly captivating - and definitely one deserving of a few replays.
