Crawlers 'Kiss Me' by Callum Lloyd-James
Rob Ulitski - 28th Feb 2024
After a successful first collaboration, Callum Lloyd-James teams up with Crawlers for a second time with an effervescent promo for Kiss Me.
The video centres around an epic party, fizzing with the excitement of a new romance. Rightfully unashamed in its celebration of queerness, the video rolls back the tape of a first kiss amidst the party chaos.
“I wanted to make it feel raw and exciting, capturing the moment where two people meet each other for the first time and every little detail about them is exciting," says Lloyd-James. "The way they smell, a mole on the back of their neck, finding your rhythm with each other and just letting your inhibitions go.”
"I wanted this film to feel like you were retracing your steps through what happened at a party the night before, capturing the flickering memories that you piece together the next day.”
Mission accomplished, as anyone watching will certainly be pulled back into snapshot memories of past dancefloors, wild parties, and memorable first kisses.
