A young man starts to address the addiction that has led him to withdraw from the world, in Will Pope and Francis Boyter's relatable video for London fourpiece Night Flight.

The video for Crazy creates the claustrophobic atmosphere of the man's living space by limiting light sources mainly to screens. It makes the man's eventual venture into the outside world more cherishable.

"When I first heard Night Flight’s track Crazy, I was struck by a kind of Groundhog Day-like feeling," says Pope. "Where you're just treading water, stuck between the same four walls, marinating in your own mess. Unable to break the cycle. It brought to mind something I feel is a growing problem these days - smartphone addiction.

"These things are designed to be as addictive as possible. The fact that tech leaders themselves restrict their children’s access to smartphones is a bit of a clue as to the impact they have on our minds. Personally I feel they can be a detriment to our mental health and close relationships.

"With that in mind I tried to combine the relationship themes in Night Flight's track with that feeling of being stuck in limbo. With Francis Boyter as co-producer and cinematographer, and James Tarpey and Isaac Deayton as our cast, we were spoilt for talent on this one."
