Andrew Jim Gannon self-directs an unconventional one-shot promo for his musical project On Man.

The video recreates the feeling of a voyeur secretly filming a couple in a strange domestic space, floating within a limbo-like void.

The characters are clueless as to who they are, wondering around in a surreal haze, embodying a physicality that feels normal to them but totally strange to those on the outside. Representing grief and the various ways in which it mutates and consumes, the video eventually dissolves into an apocalyptic fantasy world. 

Gannon embraced a low-resolution aesthetic for the video, to reflect the voyeuristic perspective, shooting on a locked-off Google Pixel and adding camera shake, panning and visual effects in post.
