Mark Jenkin brings his distinctive analogue talents to the promo for The Smile's new track, The Smoke. 

In the video, abstract patterns collide with simple, handwritten words and gritty 16mm textures, creating a vintage, avant-garde aesthetic. 

Similar to the DIY experimentation Jenkin has shown on his videos for Flyte, the video doesn't conform to traditional narrative or promo logic, existing instead as a conceptual form to accompany the music.
