Jack Newsome 'Arms' by Louis Browne
Rob Ulitski - 9th Mar 2021
Louis Browne directs a sensual promo for Jack Newsome's Arms.
Taking place amid the vast landscapes of the California desert, the video presents a series of performance vignettes, where Newsome shows off some charismatic dance moves across several distinctive locations.
Taking inspiration from the chorus of the song; 'What's the point of having arms if I can't wrap them around you?' director Louis Browne embraces the quarantine world and drops the artist into a world of isolation. A lover of films with American desert landscapes, like Paris, Texas and Nocturnal Animals, the UK-born director has found the perfect opportunity to explore shooting in such locations with the this video.
