Headie One ft Burna Boy 'Siberia' by KC Locke
KC Locke directs an ice cold promo for Headie One's Siberia, featuring Burna Boy.
Backdropped by mountainous landscapes and thick layers of snow and ice, Headie One's performance - filmed in the Scottish Highlands - is dynamic and striking, dripping in luxury styling which jumps out from the monochromatic background.
Burna Boy's setups are in direct contrast, remotely shot in Nigeria, and full of rich patterns and textures. Coming together to form a dichotomic yet strangely fluid whole, this is another notable success for Locke and his team.
I enjoyed exploring the epic landscapes... and bringing the ice cold textures to life with Headie's performance.
"It was an epic experience shooting with Headie One again for the single Siberia - shooting in freezing cold temperatures the whole team worked really hard on pulling this one together.
"I really enjoyed exploring the epic landscapes during the recce and bringing the ice cold textures to life with Headie One's performance and designer styling to make an overall icy experience.
"Remote directing Burna Boy's segment in the video was a new challenge for me. Remote directing for the first time while also working with a production company based in Africa (JM Films). It was an exciting process which I would love to do again."
