Baby Queen 'These Drugs' by Homevideo
Baby Queen is stuck in a drug-fuelled haze in Homevideo's new promo for These Drugs.
Through a handful of surreal vignettes, we see the artist enclosed in an interchangeable bathroom set, isolated and alone.
The vibrant colours and elevated art direction provide a clever dichotomy to the lyrics, whilst Baby Queen's understated performance perfectly reflects the solemn, cyclical themes of the track.
Packed full of abstract lighting and off-kilter camera movement, DoP Arran Green cleverly gives each vignette its own style and aesthetic, whilst keeping the core structure the same, helping encompass the idea of cycles and repetition.
