Drawing inspiration from 90s nostalgia, Audrey Ellis Fox's video for ONR and Phantogram's Sarah Barthel is a cinematic portrayal of sunken romances, for the naggingly catchy Must Stop. 

With ONR (aka Scottish singer-songwriter Robert David Shields) in Manchester and Barthel in LA, Fox adopts a nouvelle vague aesthetic to tie their performances together, intercut with deeply contrasting, colour-saturated footage of the sometime objects of their affections. We get hints of storylines as we glimpse at these glamourous but dangerous exes, on a particular Saturday night.

Ultimately the video becomes a collage of vignettes juxtaposed with the increasingly emotional turns by the performers. Nice work.
