Andzej Gavriss directs an epic thriller with a supernatural twist for Russian duo Aigel.

Tapping into an Russian Orthodox custom, a Presidential figure plunges into a cross-shaped pool of water cut in an ice-covered lake. He disappears into the icy depths - and a much younger man emerges. He is not just planning to be in power for life, he's planning on ruling forever. 

Gavriss gives a brooding grandeur to his spectacular blockbuster, allowing the viewer to reflect upon the potenital of his simple, horrifying premise. With cinematography by Andrey Nikolaev, the filmmaking is superlative - particuarly the fateful scene on the ice lake. Those Russians...
