Emotional Oranges 'Good To Me' by Danilo Parra
Promonews - 27th June 2019
Danilo Parra channels a Nineties classic in this video for the LA-based R&B duo Emotional Oranges. But although the famous pottery scene in Ghost has been widely parodied in the past, Parra revives its essential emotional core.
It's all about loss of someone very close, and then finding that connection again - which Parra achieves in the Good To Me video, expressing a vivid degree of sensuality through the performances of his leads.
And there's real pottery-making too...
DANILO PARRA:
"The video for Good To Me deals with the haunting feeling of losing someone you're truly connected to. When that type of tight bond is psychically separated, the spirit is still there and continues to linger. The same way that your body can get old but your spirit never ages. The spirit follows different rules than the body."
