Frank Turner 'Blackout' by Mike Baldwin
Frank Turner's easy charisma is very much to the fore in Michael Baldwin's straight-ahead performance video for Blackout.
"Frank wanted a performance video and I've not done one for ages so was well up for it.
"We wanted to have it in a totally black void and mess with the position of the band in the space and try and keep it unpredictable. I've also wanted to shoot with the handheld ice lights for a while and this seemed the perfect opportunity. They were the only light source used for those scenes so both me and the DoP were hoping it worked as it was in complete darkness until the extras switched them on.
"Also a pleasure to have an artist who is totally on your level and a joy to work with. Cheers Frank!"
