Lily Allen ft Giggs 'Trigger Bang' by Myles Whittingham
Lily Allen returns, reflecting on the good old days and why she can't go back there, in Trigger Bang. Myles Whittingham's video evokes the crucial moments of her life story through some powerfully-realised vignettes.
From teenage boozy camping, to intergenerational partying in her successful 20s, these moments feel genuinely autobiographical. Then Lily's delayed appearance in the present also nods to her past - in particular her video for 22 - and reminds us just how charismatic she is.
Before that, it all starts with Giggs's own story, and eventually comes full circle - before he and Lily escape the latest bout of hedonism together, to a nearby caff. Whittingham, who has made several videos for Giggs, has done a hugely impressive job with this one.
