The Horrors 'Something To Remember Me By' by Max Weiland
David Knight - 27th Sept 2017
Max Weiland builds a cold dystopian world around The Horrors, who reluctantly sign up to some dubious experimentation in a forbidding research complex, run by a Mrs Big you don't want to mess with.
Something bad is going to happen - but not what you expect to happen. Perhaps in keeping with Faris and co.'s new direction with the decidedly catchy Something To Remember By, this turns out to be less horrible, and more satirical. And saucy. Â
MAX WEILAND:
"This video is a comment on society’s obsession with celebrity and the music industry’s attempt to take advantage of that. A strange corporation harvest The Horrors for their real blood, sweat, tears and more, turning their bodily fluids into consumer products ready for the mass market."
