Up-and-coming director Joao Retorta captures English beatmaker Jax Jones as he pieces together his infectious new track House Work in the front room of his place in the iconic Trellick Tower, West London – joined by MNEK supplying vocals.
Shot on 16mm and all recorded live by Jax on the day - magic lighting-up beat-sticks in hand – the result is a fresh, intimate look at an exciting young producer at work. And Chicago house producer Mike Dunn also makes a glitchy appearance on Jones' TV set.
