Major Lazer ft. Ellie Goulding & Tarrus Riley 'Powerful' by James Slater
The Force is strong in Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley as they unleash their electro-magnetic powers in an all-American diner, in the thoroughly entertaining video for Major Lazer's Powerful, directed by James Slater.
This is a very well-crafted piece of musical comedy/drama, with a touch of the superhero blockbuster, as Ellie and Tarrus realise their electrified love lives have a physical manifestation - which leads them to let their new powers go their heads and perform an impressive feat of telekinesis on the freaked-out diner waitress. But who hasn't ever wanted to do that?
