Paolo Nutini 'Iron Sky' by Huse Monfaradi
Taken from his forthcoming album Caustic Love (April 14), Paulo Nutini joins forces with Huse Monfaradi at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in North London for the promo to Iron Sky - filmed as a live video.
Huse's choice of setting and vintage, authentic feel suits the organic track - which sees Mr Nutini very much at home delivering a spirited performance...

"Paolo was a big fan of my Arctic Monkeys video for "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" and wanted to do something along the same lines with a similar vintage look and feel.
"Obviously neither of us wanted to make the same video again so I suggested the backdrop should be an iconic recording studio space and naturally Abbey Road was the first choice.
"Once again I called on the service of Golden Age TV who provided the 3 vintage ikegame studio cameras we filmed on. The studio was lit by Brett Turnbull, who closely followed references I provided for lighting from that era which was far more uniform and simplistic as were the camera moves which were fairly static, using zooms rather than physical moves.
"Final Cut's Ben Harrex did a brilliant job in the edit with far fewer cuts and long crossfades to give the performance a further sense of authenticity."
