Director Rollo Hollins addresses this insight from Al-Anon directly in his new powerful music video for Bear’s Den’s track Hiding Bottles.In scenes that will sadly be familiar to many, the film centres on a family grappling with the impact of alcohol abuse. The video uses the idea of doubles to explore how alcoholism fractures realities for its victims and loved ones.&nbsp;Scenes of apparent ‘normal’ family life and happy home-video footage are juxtaposed with tense scenes of irresponsible parenting and arguments, unnervingly brought to life by the cast’s extraordinary performances.&nbsp;The use of of in-camera techniques and casting real-life identical twins made it possible to achieve uncanny shots of doubles of each family member living out different versions of their reality side by side in the same frame.

30 years on from the original and historic recording of Do They Know It&rsquo;s Christmas? Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure returned to Sarm Studios in West London the location of the original 1984 recordings, on Saturday, November 15th,&nbsp;to record Band Aid 30, raising money for the current Ebola crisis in West Africa.The line-up of talent to perform on the fourth version of the song included new generation stars together with some music legends, and a music video legend&nbsp;was also there - Andy Morahan.Last week Andy, the director of iconic music videos including Guns N Roses November Rain and George Michael&rsquo;s Faith and many more, was asked by Geldof and Virgin EMI to come on board to shoot the video. He just had to shoot it simultaneously with the recording of the song, and then deliver it within 36 hours, so it was ready for a special premiere on The X Factor. No pressure then.Andy says, &ldquo;this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with so many incredible artists. The level of talent in that studio was truly awe-inspiring. What Bob (Geldof) is doing is important and changes people&rsquo;s lives. Ebola is killing thousands of people in multiple countries and has the potential to affect the whole world on a truly catastrophic scale. The incredible passion with which Bob approaches the Band Aid project is humbling and I am truly flattered to have been asked to be a part of it.&rdquo;In the space of the day Andy filmed some of the biggest pop stars of today &ndash; including One Direction, Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Jessie Ware, Paloma Faith and Olly Murs &ndash; who teamed up with music legends such as Bono, Chris Martin, Sinead O&#39;Connor, Angelique Kidjo, Elbow, Underworld and Queen&rsquo;s Roger Taylor on drums.&ldquo;Being asked to be a part of the Band Aid experience was an incredible honor for us&rdquo; says Great Guns&rsquo; Executive Producer Sheridan Thomas. &ldquo;The whole process, from recording and mixing the track to shooting editing and finishing the film, had to be completed within 36 hours, presenting us with a number of pretty unique technical challenges. The workflow within each and across all departments had to be absolutely seamless to make it happen. There was literally no room for error. I&rsquo;m so proud of the Great Guns team and so thankful to many of our regular collaborators, like our two DOPs Tony Miller and Angus Hudson, for pulling off what initially seemed like an impossible feat without a single hitch.&rdquo;&nbsp;As well as collaborating with such talented artists, the Great Guns team had the joyous experience of working hand in hand with musical super producers Paul Epworth and Midge Ure.Says Great Guns&rsquo; music video producer Tim Francis, &ldquo;Paul and his engineers were sensational. They helped us enormously with overcoming the many complicated technical challenges. We really could not have delivered a video in the time frame without them.&rdquo;One of the most prominent of these challenges was faced by Great Guns Editors James Demetriou, Nick Saunders and Will Cole who had the gargantuan task of cutting a video that could not even start editing until the rough mix of the track was delivered at 2am, only 15 hours ahead of the delivery of the film&rsquo;s final master.The video was graded and finished at Rushes postproduction, and the tape was literally sprinted from their machine room to be premiered during the Sunday 16th November broadcast of The X Factor. The text donations during the program raised half a million pounds within an hour.The entire project is non-profit - all partners involved&nbsp;have given their time &amp; services up for free &ndash;&nbsp;and all proceeds will go to the Band Aid trust in the global fight against Ebola.&nbsp;

&quot;This was a toughy but it all paid off in the end and we&#39;re all super happy with the video,&quot; says Otis Bell, OB&#39;s MD and executive producer on the video. &quot;There was a bit of convincing the label at first, but once we had Tim Francis on board to produce we knew we had a good team. Josh totally nailed it. We couldn&#39;t find a production company to facilitate it since it was such short notice, shooting in Manila and quite a high risk financially, so we ended up running the production through OB. Our first production AND our first insurance claim....eek!&quot;It was a grueling shoot and re-shoot for Josh, but he put his heart and soul into it, never compromising on the integrity of the story and involving real characters from that world.&quot;Josh also explains that the video was based on Mouse&#39;s own life story. &quot;Mouse&#39;s mother left to find a better life in the UK when he was seven years old and aged eight he was kicked out of home by his father,&quot; he reveals. &quot;He was going down the road of many of the street kids there - joining gangs and being involved in drugs. Some of the guys in the gang would dance and compete with other dance crews.&quot;When he was 16 his Mum returned to Manila to find Mouse and bring him back to the UK where he stayed in Birmingham. He quickly became involved in the UK B-Boy scene and by the age of 18 he was winning competitions and aged 26 he became world champion which he then won again twice once in Singapore and once in San Paulo.&quot;The video is based on the story of Mouse and shows the two sides of his story, by portraying an older brother who follows a less fortunate path that could have been the fate of Mouse had he not found dance. He has a brother and while he&#39;s not dead, he is lost to the world of drugs and addiction and Mouse hopes that through telling his story he can inspire others to follow the right path. &quot;Mouse came to Manila and helped us make the video and is also the guy teaching the actor playing him in the video. The young Mouse is played in the video by 11 year old dance phenomenon B-Boy Allen. Allen&#39;s older brother Arthur was a gangster who was trained by Mouse to dance from the age 16. He reformed and became a teacher and inspiration to a new generation of dancers in Manila. His crew &quot;Breakism&quot; featured in the video are all Christian B-Boy crew preaching the reform of a gangster generation in Manila.&quot;&nbsp;

Part four of what has become an epic, and quite possibly unprecedented series of music videos for Plan B by Daniel Wolfe. 
After Stay Too Long, She Says and Prayin', expectations for The Recluse could hardly be higher. But it delivers - and then turns it up another notch. 
This one is actually for a song that comes before Prayin' in the concept/story album that is The Defamation of Strickland Banks, but Dan and Ben Drew/Plan B have seized the opportunity to fill in the gaps with a dual narrative structure - after he enters jail for the crime he didn't commit, and flashbacks to the period when still free. 
It's great work, and Drew arguably gives his best acting performance yet. And taken with the rest... what an achievement - by everyone who's been involved in making them.
