Niall Trask takes John Brydon, aka Eyes Of Others, out into the depths of snowy Norway&nbsp;for New Hair New Me, the first of three&nbsp;videos he's directed by Trask for the Edinburgh-based purveyor of electronic pop.Brydon gamely marches through a series of spectacular landscapes, including struggling through deep snow, whilst clutching his mini-keyboard and lipsycing the charming electronic pop track, before finally arriving at the forecourt of a rural petrol station. It's the first of three videos for Eyes Of Others by Trask - all shot in Norway."This shoot was the second coldest of the three and I needed physiotherapy afterwards," explains Brydon. "A highlight for me was throwing a mild-mannered strop towards the end of the last day on set - somewhere in Norway - after being asked, yet again, to trudge through knee-deep snow and run along various icy roads as the twilight looked especially good. “'Who gives a shit about the light', I said under my breath. Niall asked me if I was alright. Nice touch that I thought. "It took me back to a time when I was an extra in a T-Mobile advert where I was told I would be last in the queue for lunch due to (the lowly status of) my role in the production. Rauri Cantelo has created the visual identidy for Rose Gray's debut EP Syncronicity, with two videos including the intoxicating mix of lo-fi thrills and VFX for the title track.&nbsp;Originally coined by psychiatrist Carl Jung in the early 20th century, 'synchronicity' described the philospher's argument&nbsp;that everything in the universe is intimately connected, and that there was a collective unconscious of humankind. Essentially implying that events happening all over the world at any one time must be connected in some unknown way.Cantelo translates this idea into Gray's trip with friends in a car, where reality begins to collide with another dimension, created by using different VFX techniques, including Photogrammetry.&nbsp;&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1] "From early on in the process it was was clear that we were looking to create a film that didn’t conform to traditional chronology," says Cantelo. "It&nbsp;almost needed to be modular and fractured in its structure, a snapshot of a moment that can be broken apart and glued back together in numerous ways to essentially convey a sense of feeling rather than a clear cut narrative. "I wanted the film to look further into shared memories and experiences. After&nbsp;all the track’s name gave us the perfect footing to launch into a world that explores a deeper, almost cerebral connection between a group of people sharing a synchronised moment."By utilising LiDAR and photogrammetry we would then be able to convey a three dimensional connection between these individuals that surpasses the physical world seen on camera.”

Rik Burnell's latest video for Orlando Weeks has the ex-Maccabbee stomping over dazzlingly blue screenprint designs with his friends, including guest vocalist Katy J Pearson. Then there's the guy in a field who's cracking a whip.The video for Bigger follows in the eccentric, graphic-informed sensibility of Weeks's previous videos for new album HOP UP. This one is arguably the most reverential of old music video styles, with its use of bluescreen and wide angle lenses, but that suits a track that combines various musical influences of Eighties and Nineties."Building a relationship across the videos, we have learned&nbsp;that ideas can be magnetic without having to understand why," declares Burnell. "Our starting points [for Bigger] were gif-like 90’s wrestling figures, those that have one signature move, cyanotypes that Orlando had been working on, some friends he wanted featured in the video - and Westerns."Most of the video was shot on an 8mm wide angle lens to playfully distort perspectives, and the infectious stomp and groove of the track informed the edit - trying to find patterns and iterations to keep it kind of repetitive yet also fresh."
