Kodaline vocalist Steve Garrigan shows life through his&nbsp;perspective, in Mike Baldwin's&nbsp;intimate and canny video for Sometimes.&nbsp;Utilising a SnorriCam rig, the camera is focused on Garrigan's face throughout his daily routine, from band practice, drinks in a crowded bar, a walk on London streets, and including the inevitable lower moments that we all suffer from. The focus on his face at all moments is representative of anxiety, and&nbsp;having expectations of who you should be and what you should be doing, because it feels as though someone is always keeping check.Characteristic of&nbsp;many of Mike Baldwin's videos, this is&nbsp;simple in its concept, but turns out to be a very well-judged&nbsp;visual accompaniment to the powerful lyrics.&nbsp;

Django Django are back, with Tic Tac Toe, and a new video by regular collaborator John Maclean - borther of the bands&#39;s drummer and producer David.In it, Vincent Neff leaves the band&#39;s caravan to have a cool, speeded-up English seaside adventure (it was shot in Hastings): a quick successful pool game, fish &amp; chips, a trippy trip on the Ghost Train.Some of the team involved in Maclean&#39;s first feature <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3205376/" target="_blank">Slow West</a> were involved in making this - including DoP Robbie Ryan who shot the video on 16mm, sped up in-camera. The result is classic Django Django, employing lo-fi VFX tricky, consistently entertaining and unpretentious.&quot;The film could be about the fading era of the beach arcades, time moving too fast, love and games, horror and happiness,&quot; says John Maclean. &quot;But it is actually about a man who needs to go buy a pint of milk to make a cup of tea.&quot;

Denai Moore is at one with nature in a beautifully-crafted showcase for Desolately Devoted by Travys Owen.Shot in the director&#39;s native South Africa, the video makes tremendous use of the country&#39;s spectacular landscapes, but moves easily into more art directed setups. It&#39;s all working together to highlight&nbsp;the atmosphere, groove and fascinating instrumentation of the track.&ldquo;Travys has an incredible eye for beautiful imagery with a certain potency that&rsquo;s unique to him,&quot; says Jane Third, commissioning her last video at Because Music before taking up her new role as global chief creative officer at PIAS.&nbsp;&quot;He also has a passion for the landscape in South Africa where he lives, that meant the time spent shooting in the desert was so exciting and energising. The desert landscape is so much more diverse, dramatic and alive than I could imagined. Travys is also wonderful with artists, a kind and interesting guy to spend time with. It was a real real pleasure to shoot with him and an experience Denai and I will never forget!&rdquo;

Raine Allen-Miller uses the motifs of classical religious painting and gives them a contemporary relevance in her video for Denai Moore.As the camera moves out from Denai&#39;s face, she is revealed as the&nbsp;central figure in a tableaux featuring characters each representing different aspects of the human condition. The symbolic nature of these characters is reinforced by bursts of animation and finally,the arrival of balloon sharks floating above the scene.
