Christian Lamb examines the synchronicity between man and nature, in his brilliant promo for One Republic.&nbsp;During shooting, Lamb found himself and his production team fleeing eight locations across three states because of the California wildfires, before Google Earth landed them at Washington state’s Ruby Beach and Hoh Rainforest.Shot with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and dancers Matthew Gibbs and Courtney Scarr, the video&nbsp;reflects two halves of one mind.&nbsp;Matthew’s movements are&nbsp;technical and methodical, whilst Courtney’s are&nbsp;free flowing and intuitive, echoing both the song’s lyrics and their surroundings.&nbsp;The striking landscapes and breathtaking performances encapsulate the haunting energy of the track, which was composed as a soundtrack for new Disney+ film&nbsp;Clouds.&nbsp;“The Pacific Northwest always felt right,” says Christian Lamb. “We just needed a little luck.”&nbsp;

Machine Gun Kelly and Halsey team up for a Noughties throwback, in Philip Andelman's video for Forget Me Too.&nbsp;Jumping right into&nbsp;the action, MGK gets an itch he just can't scratch... so he slices open his skin, and out drops a Magic 8 ball, containing a trapped&nbsp;Halsey.&nbsp;The frenetic visual&nbsp;charges through a series of setups where the on-screen couple just can't seem to let each other go, but maybe that is what fate has in store for them.&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Giles Dunning matches the hyperactive pacing with handheld camerawork and plenty of off-kilter angles, whilst&nbsp;Therapy Studios' subtle visual effects add to the&nbsp;sense of frenzied fun.&nbsp;

And here, she continues her campaign of pop futurism.&nbsp;In this fragrance commercial from the year 2023, she introduces us to a&nbsp;young community of transgressive artists: ‘fertility nymphs’, ‘intimacy revivalists’, ‘K9 filterheads’ and ‘sea level survivalists’.There is a welcome cameo from pop powerhouse Lizzo. Even in this untypically low-key perfomance, the singer/rapper has charisma in buckets and an enviable presence. As two agents of body positivity and allies of the queer community, she and XCX make a great match.Bradley&amp;Pablo's video is an amusing, affectionate slant on a commercial style pioneered by Calvin Klein.&nbsp;The white vests, mixed-format aesthetic, iconic CK font, and celebration of young, queer couples are straight out of Mario Sorrenti’s star-studded campaign for CK One.

The second NERD video &ndash; or &#39;Tutorial&#39;&nbsp;&ndash; directed by Scott Cudmore and Todd Tourso. Like the first it centres on phenomenal dancer Mette Towley, but the video for 1000 is more controversial, diving headlong into the polarised politics of the United States.&nbsp;Clearly influenced by the work of Arthur Jafa - the great Jay-Z 4:44 video, for example - and Beyoncé&#39;s Formation, it starts with clips of news footage - clashes between white nationalists and left-leaning protesters - in a seemingly&nbsp;unmediated way.&nbsp;There follows&nbsp;a break in the track to include a monologue by Mike Tyson at his boxing peak.Thought-provoking stuff, although it may not be entirely clear what message we&#39;re supposed to take from this Tutorial. &nbsp; &nbsp;

Now that the bad blood has set in, Swift crews up at her Mission Impossible-style headquarters, races&nbsp;Tron-like&nbsp;motorcycles with Jessica Alba&nbsp;and sets out into post-apocalyptic London&nbsp;with her action-babes crew, which look like&nbsp;The&nbsp;Expendables&nbsp;except, y&#39;know, leaner&nbsp;and wearing stilettos.This all culminates with a face-off between her crew and Selena&#39;s, with a&nbsp;rather hilarious&nbsp;finale as the&nbsp;two women simultaneously slap each other. Really makes us wonder how the rest of the scene would have played out...
