Anne-Marie finds good reason to suspect that Aitch is up to no good, in Samuel Douek's entertaining video for Psycho.Douek creates a boisterously colourful, almost cartoonish series of environments in which Anne-Marie can wreak havoc upon Aitch's attempts at serial cheating. The director's approach gels nicely with the light-hearted tone of the collaboration between two of the UK's biggest pop stars.And he gets sterling support from the production design by&nbsp;Tilda Bonham Carter, styling by Cora Delaney and Justin Rose, and the casting of Aitch's numerous other girlfriends.[imgtoken data:1]"The idea of the video was to empower anyone who has been in Anne-Marie’s position before," says Douek. In one of the more surprising team-ups in recent pop video history, avid Man City fan Liam Gallagher shares the screen with&nbsp;Man United legend Eric Cantona in Charlie Lightening’s rather brilliant video for Once. In fact, Liam hands performing duties to Eric, and himself takes a surprisingly deferential role. But that&nbsp;turns out to be a genius move, possibly his coolest and most confident move in years.&nbsp;Gallagher plays the side man here - butler and chauffeur - as Cantona is a wonderfully -realised version of the King Eric who bestrode English football like a colossus in the Nineties. He's older, and very fond of the red wine, but still very much in regal shape as he swans through his huge, ostentatiously rock n roll white manor house, lipsyncing the lyrics of Once.This is&nbsp;a great part for Cantona,&nbsp;and his skill and aplomb is made more apparent by the fact its captured in one&nbsp;single Steadicam shot - or is it a drone? On that side of things, it's not unfair to say that there is a bit of 1917-style ingenuity going on here, courtesy of DoP Daniel Lightening, and Steadicam operator Matt Allsop. Superb.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Roisin Murphy has created a proper disco banger in Narcissus, and she has also directed the video for the track which channels the fabulously kitsch glamour of the original Age of Disco.Roisin's love of the Italian 'Queen of TV'&nbsp;Raffaella Carrà, led her to make a&nbsp;fairly faithful&nbsp;recreation of a '70s disco-era performance from her TV show - which has benefitted from&nbsp;added layers&nbsp;of 70s-style video FX.Roisin always keeps within the parameters of a TV-like live performance in real time. But due to a combination of her distinctive charisma,&nbsp;and a brilliant edit by Ben Unwin, this becomes something more than its inspiration. It's an altogether&nbsp;more transcendent experience.&nbsp;It's out there, it's very Roisin, and it's amazing.&nbsp;And,&nbsp;let's face it, right now we need a brilliant song and a video like this.

The rider meets his girl at the show, they head for the exit. What happens next will leave you shocked, with far more questions than answers. But this is the&nbsp;first in a series of Tomlinson videos, the next of which is teased in the last moments.&nbsp;Tomlinson's rock star performance is spot-on, and DoP Daniel Lightening's balance of neon red washes and stripped back naturalistic imagery lends a mysterious aura to the project. Nima Nourizadeh makes a rare return to music videos, teaming up once again with Hot Chip - with whom he first achieved great things - to create a distinctive take on the range of human emotion&nbsp;for Melody Of Love.It starts with Hot Chip&#39;s Alexis Taylor&#39;s near-disembodied head in a mirrored box, altered by lighting changes. Taylor&#39;s bandmates faces then appear merging into each other, and then a much bigger cast start to be introduced. These heads appear in a box, constantly changing and offering a kind of live-action animation of emotion. It&#39;s an intense experience,&nbsp;reflects the depth of feeling within this lovely song.This very much feels like a close collaboration between the band and&nbsp;Nourizadeh,&nbsp;who directed Hot Chip&#39;s legendary <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7dOuKbuEE4" target="_blank">Over And Over video</a> back in 2006, and many&nbsp;other great Noughties videos, before heading for Hollywood, directing Project X and American Ultra.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Nourizadeh worked with UNIT Studios VFX team, led by creative director Pete Rystra, carried out all head replacement, cosmetic clean up and colour balancing in the video, while UNIT&#39;s creative director of colour Denny Cooper added a low key grade that married with Nima&rsquo;s backlog of work with the band,&nbsp;keeping everything as naturalistic as possible.&ldquo;We were thrilled to be able to work on this spot with Nima,&quot; says UNIT Studios&#39; executive producer Bumble Davis. &quot;Hot Chip are artists that have a lot of love with our team, and combined with directing talent such as Nima&rsquo;s meant it was a very easy decision to jump in on this one. The VFX team that had to work round the clock to carry out all the huge amount of 2D work in such tight timings.&nbsp;All those involved were so passionate about the project that they even spilled in to their free time to bring it to life against the clock.&nbsp;&quot;Nima was an absolute delight to work with - affable and relaxed, with a very clear vision of exactly what we needed to do, coupled with extraordinary attention to detail aptly seen in this memorable video.&rdquo;

Relentlessly and ridiculously fun visuals for this dance-pop smash.
