Arca 'Anoche' by Jesse Kanda
Jesse Kanda's powerful new video for Arca is a one-take thing of beauty.
The dance film, which follows Alejandro Ghersi (better known as Arca) over one continuous take in an ominous black room. He dances around a floor littered with corpses, he himself appearing to be wounded by a sword. The simple cloth costume and corset give an almost biblical feel to the video, which is an arresting piece of atmospheric, enchanting dance.
