Dan Massie directs an intimate two-thousand capacity show for Taylor Swift's City Of Lovers album launch.&nbsp;Shot pre-lockdown, the video is shot in the beautiful L'Olympia venue in Paris, with Taylor performing to an excited crowd of competition winners flown in from around the world.&nbsp;In contrast with the shimmery pop promos Swift has become known for, this visual has dramatic lighting and shadows, creating a more cinematic and&nbsp;mysterious aesthetic.&nbsp;Captured with seven Alex Minis and some stunning anamorphic zoom lenses, the full concert film is now streaming on Disney+, having had it's network premiere on ABC.&nbsp;

There&#39;s a roar of pain that becomes cathartic, and brings everyone together at the moment when the emotion of the song is at its peak. Powerful stuff.

The rich golden textures of the Moroccan desert, versus the harsh yet vibrant city scenes, make for a compelling contrast as we follow a man heading to the city to find work, only to discover that unrest out in the wilds of the desert lead to his entire life being torn apart.As Bristol says, this is very much the first glimpse of a larger narrative, familiar to Western aficionados - but the Moroccan backdrop adds a dynamic&nbsp;aesthetic&nbsp;to the story that keeps it fresh.
