BUG returned to the BFI Southbank on Thursday July 17th with a midsummer round-up of the latest music video creativity, hosted by super-talented actor and stand-up comedian Sara Pascoe.

Sara won over the audiences of both shows of BUG 43 with her fresh approach, mixing sharpness and surrealism – and lots of drawings, including her feminist porn comic. She was also a great interviewer of a wonderful special guest: feature film editor-turned-promo director Lisa Gunning, who came to talk about directing her series of films for Goldfrapp's latest album Tales Of Us.

BUG 43 also included the remarkable animation work of Nicos Livesey and Tom Bunker for Throne, Ainslie Henderson for James, Tobias Stretch for Christopher Bono, Charlie Robins documenting daredevil Mustang Wanted for Klangkarussell, Andrew Garfield in a more challenging role than Spidey in David Wilson's video for Arcade Fire. And a great video for a Canadian punk band called Pup...
