Rubii gets revenge on some bad guys after suspecting some dodgy dealing in a card game, in Sekou Abineri's slick showcase for the Birmingham-born alt-R&B singer.Taking no prisoners - but a couple of hostages in vibrant red hoods - we follow Rubii as she plans her revenge in the video for Forgive & Forget. Within the setting of a palatial home, she taunts the men with the prospect of a grisly fate between performance setups. It's a fun visual, blending crime thrillers with music video aesthetics, and feels like a natural yet elevated accompaniment to the track. Great work by Sekou Abineri - who has also directed visualisers for the sultry Rubii.

LAUZZA reconnects with Niko B in this vibrant, Noughties-inspired promo. The video for I Like The Way You Look Talking At Me is packed full of lo-fi, green-screen trickery, building a world of coruscating backgrounds, layered cityscapes and liminal supermarket aisles. Built from the ground up, it's a feat of editing and effects, characteristically maximalist and garish to create a true-to-era aesthetic. Another hit from LAUZZA and Niko B, well worth a watch.

Lynks disturbs the peace in Kassandra Powell's riotous promo for CPR. Bringing his unique brand of abstract art and killer styling to the concept, Lynks is found unresponsive in the middle of a serene countryside setting, only to be brought back to life by a sexy paramedic - played by Thomas Knights. From there, it's a full throttle journey through slick choreography, mind-blowing costumes and playful vignettes. DoP Billy Kendall elevates the energy with plenty of dynamic camera shots, plus a heavy dose of FPV drone footage to top things off. It's another standout promo for Powell - shortlisted for Best New Director at UKMVAs 2023 - and is quickly creating her own uniquely offbeat visual style.
